Make a Bookmark for Scrabble Day!
Hey readers!
Today is National Scrabble Day! Did you know that this game wasn’t always called Scrabble? It was originally called Lexico, and then Criss-Cross! Celebrate this wordy game by making your very own Scrabble tile bookmark.
You’ll need:
- Scrabble tiles (ask a parent’s permission, first!) or use small wooden letters
- Ribbon or other material
- Glue or glue gun
What to do:
- Spell out a word or your name with the Scrabble tiles.
- Glue the tiles to the ribbon. Let dry.
Make your bookmark extra-special by decorating it with foam decals.
