Art of the Week – Superhero You Contest

OWL reader Sylvia submitted her grand-prize winning superhero called Princess Platypus for OWL’s Superhero You contest.
Here’s what Sylvia told us about Princess Platypus:
-she wears a waterproof suit for swimming in lakes and ponds
-she is armed with platy-potions (once thrown, they turn whatever they touch into a platypus statue)
-her sidekick’s name is Rusty and he has laser eyes
-when she says “ooga-padooda” 50 platypi come to fight by her side
-she spends her free time saving endangered species like the platypus

I LOVE drawing. I taught myself quite a bit, and lately I’ve been filling up sketchbooks way faster than I normally do.

I mostly draw characters from shows or sketch whatever I’m looking at. Or I draw my characters. Superheroes, mostly, actually!
