Artastic!
Hey all. A long, long, long time ago I published a comic by OWL reader William Li. It took a long time for the second piece of art to come into my mailbox, but now it’s here and I can’t wait to publish it.
The drawing below comes to us from long-time blog reader Sydney. I know a lot of you are manga fans, so feast your eyes on this:
Cool, huh?
Sydney created the manga girl — “Natalie” — for her cousin Natalie. Apparently, the two look quite a lot alike!
Anyone else here like to draw manga? Comics? Horses? Hockey players? If
I could post a new drawing or comic every week, I would. So everyone get out some pens, pencils, and paper, and start making me some art!
Talk to you soon.
Craig, owlblog@owlkids.com
I WOULD TOTALLY DO THAT! if i could draw… 🙁 o well…
I might try to draw something, but I’m not very good, so…
Can I email my Graystripe cat drawing?
I thought that drawing looked a bit like Sailor Jupiter with Canada earrings.

Emily, use your parents’ email address. I’m sure they won’t mind.
MAYBE I will!
ooo Katie do you read the warriors series by erin hunter? I love them!
I draw manga too! I take online courses from the manga university!
How can I send in my drawings?
I read Warriors to! (actually I read my sister’s Warriors books, but same thing) Do any of you guys read Seekers? What’s the manga university? It sounds cool.
I love Warriors! I love Seekers, too, but I’m only more than halfway through the 1st book!
sinead – the manga university is a cite where you can buy supplies. They also have some online tutorials. To check it out go to http://www.howtodrawmanga.com . And no, I don’t read seekers. Have you tried going on the warrior webcite?
