Summer Paper Craft

Hey readers,

Turn old scrap paper in your home into a colourful piece of art!

You’ll need:

• Paper (construction paper or recycled)
• Scissors
• Markers
• Glue

What to do:

1. Find a large piece of paper for your background.
2. Cut out smaller pieces of paper. Glue them onto your background to create your favourite insect.
3. Add details to your artwork using markers.
4. Show your masterpiece to your family and friends!

Happy Blueberry Month!

Hey readers,

Celebrate Blueberry Month by making a yummy overnight oats recipe!

You’ll need:

• 60 mL (1/4) old-fashioned or rolled oats
• 60 mL (1/4 cup) milk or traditional unstrained yogurt
• spoonful of honey or maple syrup
• 1 mL (1/2 cup) blueberries and strawberries
• sprinkle of chia seeds (optional)
• medium-sized jar with lid

What to do:

1. Place all the ingredients into the jar.
2. Put the lid on the jar and shake it until everything is mixed together.
3. Put the jar in the fridge overnight so the oatmeal softens. Then top with more fruit in the morning and dig into a yummy breakfast treat!
