Book Review: Sloth at the Zoom
Hey readers,
As the school year starts up again, you might be thinking about how busy things are about to get. Though it’s totally normal for families to have full schedules during the school year, it’s a good idea to take a step back and take a deep breath once in a while.
Need help remembering to do this? We suggest you read Sloth at the Zoom by Helaine Becker and Orbie! This book is about a sloth who likes to take things verrrry slow. When she arrives at her new home, the Zoom (not to be confused with the “zoo”), she realizes that she might be the only one who likes things slow. How does she adjust to her new life? You’ll have to check out this book to find out!
In the meantime, let’s see what Chickadee reader Alexandra, 6, had to say.
“I liked this book because the sloth didn’t have any friends and he learned how to make a friend.”
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Alexandra!
Remember to check out your local bookstore or library for this book.
Bye for now!
