Lions can run super fast and reach speeds up to 80 kilometres per hour (50 miles per hour)!
Female lions do the hunting for their families.
A baby lion is called a cub, whelp, or lionet.
Lions live in groups called prides.
Adult lions are loud. You can hear them roar from eight kilometers (five miles) away!

In the May 2022 Animal of the Month section, we mistakenly labelled an Oleander Hawk Moth caterpillar as a Luna Moth caterpillar. Although they are both green, you can tell an Oleander Hawk Moth caterpillar by its striking blue eyespots.
