In the May issue, we showed you how to make Fiesta Pinwheels. Here’s chickaDEE reader, Anna, 6, who was inspired by our pinwheels to make her own recipe called Pocket Picks.
Here’s how you make it!
What to do:
1. In a small bowl, mix up cream cheese, chopped up turkey, lettuce and tomatoes.
2. Slice the top of a mini pita to create an opening. Use a spoon to put in the filling.
3. Put on a plate and enjoy!
Looks yummy! Thanks for sharing, Anna!
Anna used ingredients she already had in her fridge. You can do the same and make your own version of Pocket Picks with whatever you have!

There will be chickaDEE activity bags for the first 400 people, and our good friend Chirp will also be visiting!
Hope to see you there!
On page 6-7 of the March issue, we show you how to make cool shadow puppets. Once you finish making the shadow puppets, you’ll want to put on a show! Here are the instructions on how to make your very own shadow puppet theatre.
