The April issue is here and it’s all about the ENVIRONMENT! Learn where our trash goes when we put it in the bin, make recycled crafts, visit a conservation island, and read a story about a busy and helpful little animal. We hope you like this issue of Chirp magazine!
Many of our readers are celebrating March break this month, and many, like my family, will be celebrating our spring break a little late this year. But, we are still SO excited to see the warmer weather approach and are eager to take some time on weekends and after school to get outside and celebrate spring!
Whether your school break is in March or April, we hope you try some of these fun activities below!
Go on a walk around the neighbourhood and look for tulips blooming or other plants sprouting up from the ground.
Its Tell a Fairy Tale Day! Celebrate today by reading one of your favourite fairy tales or making up a magical story of your own. You can also listen to The Casa Loma Dragon, a Chirp story written by Robert Heidbreder and illustrated by Jean Morin. This tale is about a young girl who traps a fire-breathing dragon that lives at the top of Casa Loma!
