Hi Readers!
There is a ton of snow in my front yard! Is there lots of snow where you live? Try this fun wintry activity after a fresh snowfall. Fill a spray bottle with water and food colouring. Then spray your name or a colourful design in the snow.
Have fun!

Hi readers,
This has been one cold winter at the Owlkids office in Toronto! On Monday morning, it was -20ºC (-4ºF)! To warm up from the cold weather, we’ve been drinking some hot cocoa. Here’s the recipe so you can try it too.
*Remember to ask your parents for help with the microwave first.
Yummy Hot Chocolate
You’ll Need:
250 mL (1 cup) milk or soy milk
7.5 mL (1/2 teaspoon) honey
15 mL (1 tablespoon) cocoa powder
Optional: marshmallows
What to do:
1. Combine milk, honey, and cocoa powder in a microwave-safe mug. Stir it up until the honey and cocoa dissolve a little.
2. Microwave mixture for 30 seconds on high, then stir until the cocoa powder completely dissolves.
3. Microwave mixture for another 45 seconds. Stir again.
4. Let drink cool a bit before drinking. Enjoy!
Serves 1.

Hi readers,
Robots rule! Especially robots that love cake. Click here to play the web game R.I.F.T.
The object of the game is to be a robot who brings its master a big piece of cake. I especially love how the robot dances when it passes a level. Hilarious!
What was your highest score?
Remember to ask your parents for permission to play the game first.
Talk to you later,
Mandy
