Hi readers,

In the May issue, we showed you how to make Fiesta Pinwheels. Here’s chickaDEE reader, Anna, 6, who was inspired by our pinwheels to make her own recipe called Pocket Picks.

Here’s how you make it!

What to do:

1. In a small bowl, mix up cream cheese, chopped up turkey, lettuce and tomatoes.

2. Slice the top of a mini pita to create an opening. Use a spoon to put in the filling.

3. Put on a plate and enjoy!

Anna used ingredients she already had in her fridge. You can do the same and make your own version of Pocket Picks with whatever you have!
