Chirp Contest
Hi readers!
Lots of kids are allergic to certain foods so heading back to school can be scary. AllerMates lunch bags, wristbands, and stickers remind everyone about allergies so kids can stay safe.
Do you or anyone you know have allergies? Comment on this post or send us an email and you could WIN a Allermates prize pack!
Contest deadline: September 30th, 2013
Good luck!

My BFF is allergic to peanuts. She would love this.
My daughter has a nut allergy. I hope she will grow out of it one day.
Im a school nurse! I get to assist adolescents transitioning from elementary to middle school and then off to High school! Helping students navigate the school day with allergies is a part of my day 🙂
We don’t send peanut butter to school at all because so many kids have allergies. Scary how quickly an attack can come on.
My little nephew is allergic to so many things that they hardly fit on his allergen alert bracelet. This package would be a great win for him!
My son is allergic to dairy, gluten, peanut and penicillin. And my daughter is allergic to dairy and soy.
My son is anaphylactic to peanuts and allergic to other nuts/tree nuts. Sending him to JK this fall is incredibly stressful. I’m the allergy blogger for Yummy Mummy Club, and work really hard to educate people on the importance of severe allergy awareness. We could really use something like this for my little dude! 🙂
My second youngest Granddaughter (4) will be heading off for her first year of school next week. She was diagnosed with a Peanut Allergy a few months back and will need to carry her epipen to school at all times, plus supply one to the school office (plus keep one at home)
She also has a rare allergy to cold! To cold air, cold water etc which thankfully is so far being controlled with antihistamines. I hope that can continue to work as there is little that’s sadder then a child who is not allowed to go into the wadding pool or run through a sprinkler or splash pad but must just sit and watch.
I love the look of those bags, fingers are crossed, she will be a hit at school for sure!

What a great back-to-school giveaway contest! It’s such a life-changer when someone you love has allergies, especially severe ones.
My son is anaphylactic to peanuts and nuts that even a trace of them and/or their smell can be life threatening. He can’t eat anything unless we read the packaging first and he’s been trained to always ask, “Wait! Does it have nuts in it?” before even getting near it, never mind to taste it.
Birthday parties are the worst! 90% of the time he misses out on cake because parents rarely go the extra-mile and buy a peanut-free dessert for the kids. And going out to restaurants always adds a little more stress to our meal planning.
Plus, he can never leave the house without his puffers and his epi-pens!
It’s a struggle I empathize with for many parents who have children with severe allergies. A package like the prize you’re offering is a wonderful addition to any family who does the best they can to offer support and protection to those they love with allergies.
Thanks!
I am 3 years old and I’m allergic to walnuts. I am going to preschool for the first time. I’m learning that some foods aren’t safe for me, and that can be hard sometimes. I love Chirp!
I have seasonal allergies and I’m allergic to cats. My kids have seasonal allergies and my mom has a gluten allergy

I’m allergic to strawberries and gluten.
I knew a kid in high school who was allergic to peanuts
I love this! Especially for places like birthday parties or outings when others don’t always consider the potential allergens. It would definitely add some peace of mind!
I am allergic to Aloe Vera!
