We helped a turtle cross a path when we were at our cottage. My mom picked it up and carried it safely across the bike path. I also get my baby cousins a favourite toy and a big hug when they are sad. I like to help.
we have helped several birds and wildlife that seem to find our doorstep. we have always given them a safe shelter and called the right people to come help us help them when they need us most. We recently helped some frogs find their way back to the pond behind our house after they fell into our window wells. My kids love saving animals and I am proud to watch them be so kind and thoughtful.

One house we lived in on a Navy Base had a front porch light that every year the same two barn swallow birds came to mate and lay eggs. They had a nest in that porch light. We helped those birds come back to their same nest every season because we left their nest alone. We never took it down. Our boys loved watching the birds and loved listening to them while we lived there. My youngest boys loves Paw Patrol! I would love to win this for him 🙂
I help bugs by picking them up from the road or sidewalk so they don’t get stepped on.

I went to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in the early 1990’s and was walking to my bus stop to go home for the day.Near the bus stop was a Burger King and I got hungry so I went in.I got the Whooper meal with a vanilla milk shake and onion rings.Walked outside and seen a homeless man in the garbage looking for something to eat.I said to the man”Excuse me I just bought this food would you like it?” I told him what food it was.He said “Yes I would love it! and I handed him a $20 and he said “Thank you so very much and God Bless you sweetheart” I never seen him after that but I always remember that day like it was yesterday.

I adopted a puppy saving him from the dog pound or worse. It was an adjustment but he’s a great dog and made a wonderful addition to our family.
A few days ago we found some stray puppies in our yard. It’s over 100 degrees here, so that was dangerous for them to be out and you could tell that they had been out for a long time. We took them in and gave them food and water. Luckily they had tags so we were able to call their owners who were very grateful that we had found their pups.
