Chirp’s Snow Friends Contest
Hey readers!
It’s snowy here in Toronto. When the weather turns frosty like this, there’s nothing I love more than curling up with a good book!
If you feel the same way, you should check out Snow Friends, by M. Christina Butler and Tina Macnaughton.
This book is all about a bear, named Little Bear, who wakes up from a long winter nap to find the ground covered in snow! Little Bear loves playing in the snow by himself at first, but then he gets lonely. Will Little Bear be able to find some pals to share some winter fun with? Find this book in your local library or bookstore to see what happens!
…OR you can enter Chirp’s Snow Friends Contest for a chance to win 1 of 3 copies! Just leave a comment below telling us your favourite thing to do with snow for a chance to WIN a copy of Snow Friends!

My grandkids (5 and 2 1/2) have always loved the picture book “Sadie and the Snowman” by Allen Morgan. And just like Sadie, when the snow falls, they head outside to make a “really good” snowman of their own.
“First Sarah made a snowball. Then she made two more. She rolled them and rolled them until they were done. She used cookies for the eyes, an apple for the nose and a great big banana for the smile.”
