Concert Review: Big Ticket Summer Event
OWL reader Sydney went to Family Channel’s Big Ticket Summer Concert last Sunday!
Check out her review.
I was so excited to go to Family Channel’s Big Ticket Summer Event! This was my very first concert and I was really excited but kind of nervous.
My Mom and I drove into Mississauga and took the GO Train to the CNE. When we were waiting for our train, another train went past and the fast wind was blowing in my face and all I heard was rikkidy rack!
Our train came and we sat on the top level where the train went wibbily wobbly back and forth. We got to the CNE and were about to walk to the Molson Ampitheatre but we realized we FORGOT the tickets in the car!
We quickly went back on another train to get back to our car. When our train pulled in, I ran as fast as I could and grabbed the tickets. We made it just in time to get on the train going to the CNE and then we laughed!
We hurried through the CNE and finally found the Molson Ampitheatre. We walked and walked and got there just as the LEGO friends were dancing. Our seats were close up. We could see everything but there was also a big screen so even people sitting far back could watch.
Victoria Duffield was up next, she was the BEST and really awesome. In the crowd I could feel all of the excitement of the fans. They were holding up signs, singing and dancing along. We took lots of photos and I knew all of the words to the songs which was cool.
There was a break so we decided to go and buy a slice of pizza but wow, the line ups were long, and we had to wait forever. We got back to our seats in time to watch Zendaya who was a good dancer. She had us all doing moves right along with her. She is also a good singer and everyone was singing along with her.
Last act of the night was R5 and OMG that was the most screaming I have EVER heard! It was amazing. Then as we were leaving I saw R5 in a window so of course I was jumping and waving and Ross Lynch actually waved back at me! That was the BEST.
We had so much fun at the concert and I hope I’ll get to go to another concert again!
