Cool Earth Day Interview
Happy Earth Day, readers!
Have you ever thought about helping the planet? It’s never too late to get involved, just ask six-year-old Aria! She’s been sharing her love for the planet on her blog, Give the Kids a Voice, for over a year.
Read on for more info about this cool kid!
chickaDEE: What made you start this blog?
Aria: The blog is called Give The Kids A Voice because I wanted to share stories about kids from all over the world.
chickaDEE: What is the biggest change you think people can make to help the planet?
Aria: Everyone knows that recycling helps save our environment, but there are still people who don’t do it. The important thing is to keep trying.
chickaDEE: If kids want to get involved in their own communities, how do they get started?
Aria: Communication is important! You have to let people know that you want to help out. Tell a parent or a teacher, and I bet they’ll help you get started.
chickaDEE: What are you doing to celebrate Earth Day?
Aria: My class is doing a community clean-up. Last year, my family and I started an Earth Day tradition of cleaning up the school garden. We’ll be doing this again today.
Aria is proof that no matter how young you are, you can still make a difference! How are you going to help the planet? Leave a comment below!
I’ll talk to you later,
