- The Singapore Flyer is the world’s tallest ferris wheel. The giant wheel holds 28 passengers and takes 30 minutes to make one full rotation.
- Bakken is the oldest amusement park in the world. Four hundred years ago in Denmark, Bakken started as a gathering place for people to get fresh spring water. The large crowds soon attracted entertainers and an amusement park was born!
- The Steel Dragon 2000 in Nagashima Spa Land in Japan is the longest steel roller coaster in the world. This speed machine is as long as 27 football fields.
- A German woman has the world record for visiting the most amusement parks by one person. It took Dorothea Spohler-Clauben 29 years to visit 1,108 amusement parks around the world.
