Dinosaur Discovery Contest
Hey all. Show of hands: who’s psyched for the Dinosaur Discovery Contest as seen in the May and June issues of OWL? Everyone? I thought so. I mean, it involves two things we all love: 1) dinosaurs, and 2) awesome prizes!
Speaking of prizes, feast your eyes on what’s up for grabs:
- dinosaur coin series from the Royal Canadian Mint
- free passes to the Canadian Museum of Nature and other national museums
- a Nintendo DSi gaming console with a Fossil Fighters video game
- cool books about science and dinosaurs
Fun, huh? This contest is open to all 6- to 14-year-old residents of Canada — including Quebec — and the deadline for entries is July 30, 2010. Click here to enter online.
Also, seeing as the May OWL Calendar tells us it’s International Museum Day, why not click here and check out some of the Canadian Museum of Nature’s 3-D dinosaur videos? They’re dino-mite! (Get it?!)

I live in Quebec and there aren`t a lot of contest that allow residents of Quebec to enter. IT`S SO UNFAIR! 🙁

Hey Sunil. Don’t worry, I’m still checking the page! Sorry for the slow reply. Because the contest just closed, winners likely haven’t been selected. When winners are selected, someone will be contacting them directly — probably by email. Hope that helps!
