Earth Hour
Just a quick reminder what today is. Or should I say “tonight is”? Or should I say “the hour between 8:30 and 9:30 tonight is”?
Long story short: it’s Earth Hour! For those not familiar, Earth Hour is an annual event that encourages everyone to turn off their lights for an hour. According to the Earth Hour website, the event is a call “to stand up, to take responsibility, to get involved and lead the way towards a sustainable future.”

Cool!
Earth Hour starts at 8:30 PM tonight (Saturday, March 26) and ends at 9:30 PM. As last year and the year before (we’ve been doing this a long time, huh?), I’ll be powering down this evening for sure. Will YOU? Let me know in the comments below!

For the Think Tank entry form in the April Issue can we enter more then once?
Hi AnonymouS! You can, but one entry will do just fine! Just let us know in a letter why you think you should be on the Think Tank, and we’ll put you in the running. I have a very good feeling you’ll get in…!
Cool!
Thanks!
Can you e-mail in the forms, or do you have to mail them in?
Aww, darn! I missed it. But my student leadership group at school is the enviromental group, so we’re planning a earth day for our school. We’re going to get people to wear green and blue, bring a no waste lunch and bike, walk, skateboard, skooter, rollerblade or anything non pollutingto school.
Hey Madeleine! Those are really cool ideas. Good work!
