Eclipse Time!
Hi readers,
There will be a partial solar eclipse on October 23rd, 2014! The Moon will pass between the Earth and Sun and will block the sun’s light from shining on us. This only happens a few times a year!
ECLIPSE TIPS:
- Do not look directly at the eclipse. It will damage your eyes.
- The safest way to view an eclipse is with a pinhole camera. Click here to see how to make one.
- You can look at the eclipse wearing special “eclipse” glasses or welder’s glasses 14 grade or higher.
- You can look at the eclipse through an approved telescope filter.
Visit NASA to see what time the eclipse will be happening where you live!
