Have a family puzzle night!
Hi, readers!
I love doing jigsaw puzzles. They are great for practising problem-solving skills and working as a team. During the winter school break, I worked on two puzzles with my family. Here are a few tips on how to tackle any type of puzzle, whether it is a 350-piece puzzle or a 36-piece puzzle!
- Make sure you have a good work surface that will fit your entire puzzle.
- Flip every piece of the puzzle picture-side up.
- Study the box and start grouping! Group together corner and edge pieces to build the frame. Also group together similar patterns and colours.
- Have each family member take a small section. Someone can be in charge of the frame. Another person can be in charge of certain patterns or colours. Start building and good luck!
