Every Seat In The Stadium
In the June issue, Weird Zone includes Strange and True Olympic Oddities related to the London 2012 games.
One of my favourites is “Pull Up a Chair.” A British artist named Neville Gabie atttempted to sit in all 69,000 seats in London’s Olympic Stadium. He ended up sitting in approximately 40,000 of them in about 69 hours.
Here’s Neville’s video.
What do you think of this video? Do you think it’s art? Is it entertaining? Would you do it? I totally would! I think it would be exhausting, and I would definitely need plenty of snack breaks, but I would still do it.

Oh wow. that must be exhausting! Kim, are you still doing the owl blog book club? Because I have a good suggestion. Percy Jackson and the Olympians!! I love that series!! The first book is called The Lightning thief.
Thanks!

Great suggestions, Kaitlyn! Thank you. Yes, we’re still doing the Book Club and the books for the next few months are listed here: http://www.owlkids.com/?p=3534. I’ll definitely keep your suggestions in mind, as well. 🙂
Thanks!!
