My son Sebastian (age 4) has level 1 autism and I find playing board games helps him learn to self regulate and he is slowly beginning to understand the concepts of chance and “not always winning” and learning to be a good sport. The upside to board games is all the practice he gets with math and literacy that are part of them ! Encourage board games as much as possible with your kids !!
