First LEGO League Fun

Hi readers,

I hung out with some very creative kids this weekend at the FIRST Robotics Competition in Ontario. The theme of the competition was Destination: Deep Space and each of these FIRST LEGO League Jr. teams worked together to build amazing moon bases to show off at the event. Check them out!

Team Tech Tiger’s moon base has an elevator that actually moves up and down!

Astronaut Chris Hadfield would be proud of Team Ice Dragon’s giant moon base. So incredible!

Everyone worked together to demonstrate how their moon bases worked.

This team’s base included a robotic car, too!

Congrats to all the teams who took part in this event. Everyone worked so hard on their projects and it really showed!
