Fun Paper Craft Activity

Paper Puppets

What you’ll need:
– Construction paper
– Scissors
– Markers or crayons
– Yarn, felt, glitter, buttons
– Glue

What to do:
1. Cut a piece of construction paper in half. Cut those pieces in half again. Now you can make 4 puppets.
2. Draw out 2 small circles near the bottom of the puppet for your fingers to fit in and cut them out carefully. Your fingers will be the legs of your puppet.
3. Now decide what kind of puppet you want to make. Glue other bits of construction paper on for a costume and use markers, crayons, felt, glitter and buttons to decorate. Cut up some yarn for hair too!

Tip: You can get super creative with your puppets and make different outfits for them. Try a superhero puppet with a cape, or ballerina with a tutu (see photos).
