Greatest Trick Shot Ever
If you were to rank all the sports in the world in order from most favourite to least favourite, which would be number one? More importantly (for this post, anyway), what spot would billiards come in? Fifth? Tenth? One millionth?
While billiards doesn’t come in first place for me (hello, basketball!) or even tenth (hockey?), the following trick shot clip has at least put it on the list.
Check it out:

What?! I don’t even know what’s more impressive: the shot itself or the domino set-up. Imagine how many failed attempts the player must have made! That’s an Egyptian-pyramid-level example of perseverance. Very impressive.
What do you think? Let’s get some serious sports talk going on in the comments!
Talk to you soon.

how in the WORLD could someone do that???!!! that must be in the guiness book !!!!
That was awesome! I have to say that again: That was awesome!!!!!
That video was in French, so I could sort of understand the commentators near the end. At first, I couldn’t tell what language they were speaking.
I once watched trick billiards on TV. They can send those billiard ***** really fast across the table.
Craig, haven’t you ever heard of the other word for it: pool?
Hey Katie! Yup, I’ve heard of pool. “Billiards” is kind of a catch-all name for pool and lots of games like it. “Cue sports” is another such name. Cool, huh?
craig…..do you know when the next reader art of the week will be posted???
That.Was.Awesome! I`ve never seen a trick shot like that before! Really cool how they set up the dominoes and triggers on the table. Amazing.
Not sure yet, Marissa. You’ll have to wait and see!
okey dokey…….thanks craig!!!!!
That was awesome! That one at the end was weird thew were all crooked when they went but all of them went in the hole!
Sweet!
A note for Mary: I love the YouTube clip you sent me! I’m going to save it for the right time, and I’ll give you credit when I do. Thanks a lot!
No problem, Craig!
I’m happy you enjoyed it!
Craig……do you know if that shot is in the guiness book of world records?????
Hi Marissa. I took a look on the ‘net, but I couldn’t find any facts about trick-shot world records. Seems like it would be in the running for “Most billiard ***** sunk with one shot,” huh?

ELLO! Time to answer all of your questions. *deep inhale* Here goes nothing…
Stringbean:It is, in fact, a he, named Cole.
Sinead: Thank you!
Mara: Yes, it is cute. Yes I am that Emily. He`s 3 months old, and he already knows how to sit, lie down, and shake paw! OMG!
Marissa: He`s doing wonderful. Being his clumsy little self 🙂
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST;
Katie: He is…*drumroll*…A BLACK LAB WOOO!
Thank you people for all of your questions, now you should know all about Cole! Oh, he says hi! *woof*
aww… he sounds so cute… I taught my cat to sit when i blow a whistle.
Really? Wow! We just say “Sit” and he sits down. We put our hand in front of him and say “Shake paw!” and he puts his paw up to shake.
i have a cat and he knows how to sit and lie down.
I hope to teach my cat to jump through a hoop, but that may be too hard. i’ll try, though!
I didn’t know you could train cats. . . coolness!!!
i taught my grandma’s dog how to play soccer
P.S.
You have one kool kat Marissa!
😀
the only difference between training cats and dogs is that dogs do it to please their owner and cats do it for the treats. 😀
