From the OWL Vault: Handwashing Awareness Week Edition
If you’re a regular reader of OWL’s monthly Calendar, you know that pretty much every day, week, and month is special for at least one reason. For instance, last Friday was National Dice Day. Next Thursday is Wright Brothers Day. And today is the third day of Handwashing Awareness Week! Hip hip hooray!
As the week’s official website says, “… handwashing is one of the best ways to safeguard against illness.” And it’s especially important this time of year with cold and flu bugs going around.
To help celebrate, I dug out a feature OWL published in November 2006 all about proper handwashing technique. Click here to download the page as a PDF and find out what parts of your hands are most frequently missed when you wash up.
Happy handwashing, all!

Your fingertips!
That’s what we use to tap the keyboard and mouse, and yet they are almost always missed. You wouldn’t think so.
BACTERIUM MAGNIFIED 75000 TIMES!!!!

Well, it’s already dec.8 [yes, I live in Canada] and I still haven’t received my first issue. I’m pretty sure that either I misunderstood or that there is an problem with my subscribtion? could you please explain this.
Hi Buza! Give it a couple more days. If it was mailed out on Friday, chances are it’s still in the mail. I hope that’s the case!
