Happy Pumpkin Seed Day!
Hey readers,
Fall is here, and so is Pumpkin Seed Day! Did you know pumpkin seeds are loaded with nutrients like magnesium and zinc that are good for your body? They’re pretty tasty, too!
If you end up carving jack-o’-lanterns this year, be sure to save some pumpkin seeds to make a delicious treat! Check out this simple recipe to make with your friends and family.
*Always ask an adult for help in the kitchen.
You’ll need:
- 1 1/2 cups raw pumpkin seeds
- 2 tsp melted butter
- 1 pinch salt
What to do:
- Preheat oven to 150 °C (300 °F).
- Toss seeds in a bowl with the melted butter and salt.
- Spread seeds on a baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
