Today is Relaxation Day! Relaxation Day is a time to slow down and let yourself feel calm and relaxed. And here’s a fun fact for you: Relaxation Day was first created by a nine-year-old boy!

- Stretch: stretching is a great way to relax your muscles and feel better. Sometimes when you’re stressed, your muscles can tighten. Stretching helps loosen them again!
- Read: reading is an activity that can be fun and calming. So sit back with a book, relax, and read!
- Breathe: taking deep breaths can help relax your mind and body. An easy breathing exercise you can try is repeatedly inhaling for four seconds then exhaling for four seconds. If four seconds feels uncomfortable, try three seconds.
- Think: thinking about the things that relax you and writing them down is a great way to relax. If you ever feel stressed or nervous, look back at your list to help you feel better!
