Looks like it’s a week of goodbyes here on the OWL Blog. First the Olympics finished up in Beijing. Then Earl, my fave Canadian Idol contestant, got voted off the island. Now I don’t even know who to cheer for…
In honour of Earl, here’s my favourite of his performances from the season:

I can see why he didn’t win the whole thing. He’s got a bit of a weird vibe, especially when he’s bouncing around the stage during a song. But when he’s sitting down playing the guitar? Magic! I love that performance.
Now we’re left with three potential Idols: Drew, Mitch, and Theo. Who do you think is going to win? Are voters messing up the voting? Are you guys getting sick of Idol updates? Let me know in the comments!

Earl didn’t look to sad to get off the show. I bet he already has a deal with record company and they just told to find a way to get a way off the show fast, so that he could kick start his music career! That would be funny. I will cheer for Drew now.
P.S. I’m getting “sick” of Idol updates, but just don’t call this blog “Idol Mania”! I do what to talk about other things to you know! 🙂
Heh heh, yeah I guess I am kinda getting sick of idol updates… to tell you the truth I MUCH prefer American idol! I just think a singing contest is nothing without a Randy (Dawg), a Paula (I love you all!), and a Simon (you sing like trash). You know what I mean?
Anyways, the thing that I am really into at the moment is Cranium games like Hoopla, and the origional Crainium games! They are soooo fun and creative! Have you ever played one? If so, tell me what you think!

I played hoopla once or twice and I loved it! Even looking at the pictures on the cards is fun!

hey, Joolz, i like Cranium games two, but i’ve mostly only played the original, which i realy like, because i’m smarter then all the adults on my team, mostly!!! like once we got the question:
true or false: penguin is a polar bears favorite food.
all the adults on my team were going “yeah, that sounds right!” and i was the only one who said “um, polar bears and penguins live on opposite sides of the world!” *rolls eyes* stuff like that is why we have shows like ‘are you smarter then a 5th grader?’
I like Cranium games. I’ve only played cadoo before. I’ve played it so many times, the clay is way too sticky from all the sweat and oils from people’s hands!
I will NEVER get sick of Canadian Idol updates. Never. I also like Canadian Idol better than American Idol. I like the judges and host better, I like how they are people from our country, and I love the fact that I can audition for it if I ever want to!

I know your upset because Earl got didnt get enough votes but if Earl didn’t get enough votes that means not alot of people were fond of him. I guess the voters weren’t satisfied with his performances so that’s why the votes didn’t end up the way you wanted them to be.

i don’t watch Canadian Idol anymore now that Mookie and Earl are off… 🙁
People are just voting for who they want to win. So i don’t think that they’re messing voting up. I’m not getting that sick of Idol updates. But you could write about other things…
I really like Cranium games!!! They are super fun. I’ve only played a couple though
I like Cadoo. I’ve wanted to play others, but I never could find them. I do play Hullabaloo! with my 4 year old cousin. it’s kinda funny but gets boring after awhile. We also have Hullabaloo! It’s my sisters.
Has anyone seen Journey To The Centre Of The Earth 3D? I did in 3D. It was awesome. Long, but awesome.
I haven’t seen “Journey to the Centre of the Earth” yet, but I plan to.
Earl was on Canada AM(a morning new program on CTV) and Earl said he’s going to move to Toronto, move in with Mookie, and they are going to make music together.

I reaaaaaaaaaaaaly like playing Cranium games like alot of kids. I have the games Zigity and Cadoo but I’ve also played the original CRANIUM.

i’m from the USA, (to be exact, California) so i don’t watch candian idol. it sounds pretty cool though! i’m not sick of the idol updates. it’s fun to see what’s going on in canada.

I don’t watch Canadian Idol, but am I glad I don’t! If those songs keep going, I’m gonna go from headphones to MEGAPHONES if its on.
