It’s Family Literacy Day!

Hi everyone,

Today is Family Literacy Day! This day was created in 1999 to remind everyone of the importance of reading as a family.

Here are a few ideas you can try out to celebrate:

1. Act out a part from your favourite story.
2. Draw a picture of your favourite book character.
3. Spend 15 minutes reading your favourite book with your family.
4. Write a family story. Everyone takes turns making up one line of the story, then read it out loud when it’s done.
