Cool School by Jake
In a previous issue of OWL, we asked you to send in a drawing of a cool school.
OWL reader Jake sent us this drawing!
Jake also sent us some pictures to share. Here’s what he said about them:
“When I was 7, my sister and I went to a very different school in Mpungu, Namibia. When it rained, the goats would go inside. We’d have to clean the poop out before class started the next day. I taught some boys how to play hockey in an empty classroom.”
Thanks so much for sharing your story and pics with us, Jake!
Now it’s your turn. Send us your stories, pictures, and art. They might be featured on the blog!

That’s neat that he taught the students a sport they likely never would have heard of!
So true! It must’ve been an interesting experience for him.
That’s a really neat school. Lots of opportunities to get outside! The story was neat too.
WOW! That is so cool! I love the story.
