Kaleidoscope Craft

Here’s another fun craft from Owlkids intern Sarah!

Hi readers,

Want to make something colourful, bright and fun? Kaleidoscopes are cylinders that you look through to see cool designs and colours. Try out this cool kaleidoscope craft!

You’ll Need:

• Construction paper1
• Empty paper towel roll
• Foil sheet
• Plastic lid
• Sequence, beads, and glitter
• Glue

Instructions:

1. Glue a sheet of construction paper around the outside of the paper towel roll.
2. Glue a foil sheet around the inside of the paper towel roll.
3. Glue sequence, beads, and glitter all over the plastic lid. Then, glue the lid to the end of the paper towel roll, so the decorations are facing the inside.
4. Let the glue dry, then point your kaleidoscope towards the light and see all of the different colours!
