Let the Outdoor Games Begin!

Looking for some fun things to do in the sun? Check out these ideas from Owlkids intern Sarah!

Hi readers.
Summer is great time to play outdoors. Here are some ideas that are sure to keep you busy!
- Hopscotch. Draw a hopscotch board on the ground with chalk. Throw a pebble. Try getting to whatever square it lands on by hopping on one foot!
- Freeze Tag. When you get tagged by the person who is ‘IT’, you need to freeze until someone else playing the game unfreezes you by tapping your shoulder.
- Potato Sack Race. On your marks, get set, GO! Grab your friends and some pillowcases. Try getting to the finish line while hopping along in your pillowcase!
- What Time Is It Mr. Wolf? When the person playing ‘Wolf’ calls “LUNCH TIME” run as fast as you can back to the starting line!
- Jump rope. Try singing a silly rhyme while jumping rope.
