Make a Bookmark for International Children’s Book Day
Hi readers,
Today is International Children’s Book day! This is one of my favourite days because I love to read.
If you love to read too, you might like today’s craft. Read on to learn how to make your own silly bookmark!

You’ll need:
- A popsicle stick
- Yarn
- Googly eyes
- Glue
- A marker
What to do:
- Glue two googly eyes onto your popsicle stick, near the top.
- Cut the yarn into short strips.
- Glue the yarn strips to the top of the popsicle stick so they hang down like hair.
- Use the marker to add a smile.
Ta-da! Now you have a special bookmark to use in your favourite book.
