Our next door neighbors are retired and not in the best of health. Every week, we bring their recycle bins/garbage in for them since we live in condos and they have to go a little hike away from our house to the common area. They won’t let me help take it out, but we always bring it back in 🙂
I volunteer at Schools and with Seniors Groups

You shovel the sidewalks/driveways of your neighbours in the winter or mow the lawns in the summer, especially if you know that they may have problems doing it (they are older, sick, injured, pregnant or have small kids). Its a nice and unexpected treat 🙂
In my family we help others by donating clothes, and food, if we see someone needing help (shoveling a drive, bringing groceries in) we are there in a heart beat. We also believe that teaching our children to love everyone, showing respect, being mindful of others feeling etc is the first step in helping others. When we someone holding a sign asking for food or money usually we go buy them some food to eat, if its winter we give gloves, scarfs, socks and hats.
We have our winners!
Big congratulations to the following five winners:
Jay Nelson, Isobel, Sarah Mills, Mariah, and Bailey Dexter!
Thanks to everyone who entered!
