Movie Review: Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie

Is there a bigger, more epic, more hilarious, more anticipated movie coming out this summer than Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie? We’re going to say: Nope! Isla, 9, got to see the film recently and she thought it was TRA-LA-LAAAAA-MENDOUS!
Here’s her take on it:
My favourite part of the movie was…
“I don’t really have one (the whole movie was awesome!), but I loved how they switched between the movie and Harold’s drawings.”
I didn’t like…
“Nothing. Every single part of the movie was well thought out and it was based on Dav Plikey’s books and they’re amazing.”
I think other kids might…
“Maybe younger kids might find the part when Professor Poopypants is trying to take away George and Harold’s sense of humour a little bit scary.”
Will other kids like the movie?
“I definitely know that a lot of kids will enjoy the movie and they’ll think it’s super hilarious.”

I saw the Captain Underpants movie the day after it came out and it was HiLARIOUS!!!!!
This movie gave me so much nostalgia from back a long time ago when I read the original books when I was just eight or something and I absolutely loved it, this movie captured it almost perfectly from back then, but the voice for Harold was a bit off from what I thought it would sound like, but other than that I think it’s pretty cool and funny. (For kids that are around eight lol, it’s too bad that the kids watching this movie didn’t read the original books)
