Movie Review: Turbo
Hey Readers,
I had a chance to see the movie Turbo a few days ago. This movie was pretty entertaining and has made me look at snails in a whole new light!
Turbo is about a snail (named Turbo) who just wants to be a race car driver. The only problem is, snails don’t move very fast. All of that changes when Turbo is accidentally empowered with super speed! Suddenly, Turbo finds himself with an awesome ability, and a crew of other snails who want to help him make his racing dreams come true.
Here are a few things I loved about this move:
Turbo’s snail friends. Although Turbo is pretty charming, it was his buddies that had me giggling throughout the film. This is all thanks to the voices of Snoop Dogg, Samuel L. Jackson, Ryan Reynolds and Paul Giamatti, who brought these silly-shelled characters to life onscreen!
The story. There’s a great message in this movie — never give up on your dreams. Turbo is just a tiny snail in a big world, but this doesn’t stop him from trying to reach his goals.
