Name the Baby Gorilla
Hi all. Who out there would like to name a baby gorilla? Everyone? I thought so. I mean, it’s not every day that you get the opportunity. But, right now, thanks to the good folks at the Toronto Zoo, we can do just that.
Mom Nzomi and dad Charles recently had a bouncing baby gorilla boy, and the little guy needs a name. For your reference, here’s what he looks like:
Awesome. And tiny! Strange to think he could grow up to weigh as much as 220 kg (485 lbs.), huh?
Anyway, the staff at the Zoo have set up a page of 10 names for people to vote on. Next Wednesday, they’ll take the top five names in the list and put them in front of Charles (the dad). Whichever name he goes to first will be the baby’s name.
