Olympic Fever – Benoît Huot
The 2012 Summer Paralympic Games has started! Team Canada is stacked full of champions, including Benoît Huot, who’s part of the Super Athlete team.
Name: Benoît Huot
Sport: Swimming
About Benoit: Benoît is no stranger to competition: London 2012 is his fourth Paralympic Games. In 2004, he won five gold medals. He started swimming competitively at age 10 and his disability, a club foot (a foot that’s twisted so that the sole can’t be placed flat on the ground), hasn’t got in the way of his determination. Nicknamed “The Shark” for his power and speed in the water, we’re excited to see Benoît race for the podium in London. Good luck, Benoît!
