Olympic Fun

Hi everyone,

Have you been watching the Olympics this summer? Do you have a favourite sport? I know I’ll be watching the diving! Celebrate the Games with a few simple family crafts:

Gold Medal: Cut a circle out of gold paper or card stock and punch a hole in the top. Thread a long ribbon through the hole and tie the ends together.

Olympic Torch: Tape or glue pieces of red, orange and yellow tissue paper to a paper towel roll. Hold it high as you run with your torch!

Canadian Flag: Show your support for Canada’s athletes. Use face paint to draw a Canadian flag or the Olympic rings on your cheek.
