Olympic Opening Ceremonies!
Happy Olympic Opening Ceremony Day!
This is a momentous day as thousands of athletes will march into the Olympic stadium proudly holding their country flags in London, United Kingdom. The Olympic Torch will be carried into the stadium and the Olympic Cauldron will be lit. This lighting of the flame marks the first official day of the Olympics where athletes all over the world will compete over the next 16 days. We can’t wait to see what the Opening Ceremonies has to offer!
We’ve been highlighting an athlete every week and this week is no different. Let’s get to know Canadian boxer Mary Spencer.
