Olympic Update

Hi readers!

Well the 2012 Summer Olympics are now in full swing! It’s already day 4, but it feels like the opening ceremony just happened! Speaking of the opening ceremony, if you had a chance to tune in, you might still be talking about the cool show that London put on. Well, you’re not alone. It’s estimated that 4 billion viewers tuned in to watch the ceremony!

Now that the games are underway, many people are pumped to see their favourite athletes compete! I’m really looking forward to the diving competitions, especially.

One of the world’s top divers, Alexandre Despatie will be competing for the gold tomorrow! You may remember seeing him in the June 2012 issue of chickaDEE. Many Canadians are routing for this amazing athlete!
