We would like to clarify a fact you may have noticed in your Summer issue of Chirp. We said that cheetahs hunt from trees. While cheetahs do sometimes hunt from higher vantage points, such as termite mounds and low tree branches, and cubs sometimes climb trees for fun, grown-up cheetahs aren’t great at climbing trees and therefore prefer to hunt for prey while on the ground.
