OWL’s Green Photo Contest: The Vote is On!
Well, isn’t this EXCITING? In the September issue of OWL (our “Green Issue”), we challenged you to take a picture of something green and send it to us. We received hundreds of awesome shots, and our judging panel has short-listed them down to a final five. Now it’s YOUR job to pick the winner!
Here are the five short-listed shots, listed by alphabetical order of last name of entrant:

2. Madeline F.
3. Amy G.
4. Jessica M.
5. Harrison R.
Now it’s time to vote! Which of these five photos is your favourite?
Email your vote (one vote per person) with the subject “Green Photo Contest” to owl@owlkids.com.* Voting will close on Tuesday, November 8, at 5:00 PM (EST), so log your choice ASAP. Once the contest closes, the entrant with the most votes will be declared the winner and will receive a Fujifilm Instax Mini 7s Instant Camera. The remaining four entrants will each receive a Hilroy Enviro prize pack.
Finally, feel free to show your support for your fave shot (or shots) in the comments below — just make sure to keep all comments on the positive side!

I like #4 best. Reminds me of when I was in school. I love the smell of freshly sharpened pencils.

Stefan- I love how its up close and shows the details of the caterpillar!
Madeline-Great picture!!! so beautiful! thats all i have to say! amazing.
Amy- She can just put the simplest thing (in this case the streetlight) and make it into something very beautiful!
Jessica-Also a very simple item (pencil crayons) made into a beautiful picture!
Harrison- Very pretty picture! simple and very full(not really any blank spaces)
If I had to choose, my choice would be Madeline’s picture (#2)!

All four of the photos are wonderful, but my favorite is Stefan’s. It is so artistic and so skillfully captures the light as it glows through the leaves and the caterpillar. Keep on shooting Stefan.

I really like Stefan’s one, I think its very green,and creative. I wonder where they went to get that photo? I wish I could’ve entered but I was toooooo l8! o well, next time.
