OWL’s Green Photo Contest Winner
Ready? Here we go! As of 5:00 PM last night, the voting on OWL’s Green Photo Contest closed. We’ve sifted through the votes and tallied them up, and I now have the privilege to announce the winner.
Without further adieu, the grand-prize winner of OWL’s Green Photo Contest is… Jessica M.! She will now receive a Fujifilm Instax Mini 7s Instant Camera for her picture:
Of course, the other short-listed nominees won’t walk away empty handed — Stefan C., Madeline F., Amy G., and Harrison R. each win a Hilroy Enviro prize pack for their great shots.

I’ve entered an Owl photo contest before but never even got close to winning.
Funny thing is, I didn’t even vote for myself, I voted for Stephen. He had a really nice shot. I liked #2, too. I didn’t think I’d win though.

omg! jessica’s was the best! i wounder how you got the back round white. : ) you probably just sharpend the pencils and dumped out the shavings. oh well, i guess it will always be a big mystory! but still, i new it would win. awesome jod! totaly great! i wouldnt of thouht of that any day! way cool. i didnt even know this website even egsisted untill my bff told me about it! then, right when i saw yours, i knew it would win! awesomely awesome! its great!

I like aranging things and taking a picture of them. Close-ups are my specialty. to take this picture I sharpened all my green coloring pencils and arranged the pencils and the shaving s on a sheet of white paper. I tried a few different arrangement and angles. I like the way the pencils and the shavings go so well together. I almost didn’t enter because it was getting so close to the deadline and I entered anyway, but never expected to win.
