Planter Pals

Hey readers,

Put your green thumbs to work and make these cute plant pots from the April issue of Chickadee!

You’ll need:

• plastic bottle
• scissors
• paint
• pebbles
• potting soil
• plant

What to do:

1. Ask an adult to cut a bottle into the shape of an animal, alien, or monster.
2. Paint a face and other details onto the bottle. Let the paint dry.
3. Add a layer of pebbles and a layer of soil to the bottle, and then add a plant.
