Movie News: The Angry Birds Movie

Remember Angry Birds, the smartphone app the took over the world a couple years ago? Now it’s coming to take over the big screen, too: The Angry Birds Movie hits theatres this Friday.

You’ll recognize all your favourite birds from the app, including our hero, Red, and his two best friends, the fast-flying Chuck and the exploding Bomb. And let’s not forget the bad guys: evil green piggies come to steal all the eggs. Can the birds protect their island from these ill-intentioned invaders?

It must have taken a ton of creativity to turn one little app into a whole movie, and I’m pretty curious to see how  it turns out.
