Fall is here! But that’s doesn’t mean we have to stop enjoying ice cream, does it? Here’s a quick and healthy ice cream recipe you can make to celebrate the season.
You’ll Need:
- 4 bananas
- 1/2 can pumpkin puree
- 2 tbsp pumpkin pie spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves)
- food processor or strong blender
- Mix everything together in a food processor or blender until smooth.
- Put the mixture in an air-tight container and freeze it overnight.
- Put your ice cream in a bowl. Enjoy!

I’d like to try this. Any advice on what size of tin of pumpkin puree?
Hi Rosemary!
I just bought the only size they had at the store. It was a standard can of pure pumpkin puree, I think it was probably 15oz/425g. The great thing about this recipe is that you can adjust it to taste. I also tried it with frozen bananas and less pumpkin and it turned out great.
Have fun!
