Right now, I’m reading a series of unfortunate events and I think the books are really good. I just finished the second one!
What has been your favourite parts so far?
I like how Violet, the oldest sibling in the book, always makes an invention to help herself and her younger siblings when they are in trouble.
Mik Murdoch: The Power Within by Michell Plested
What made you choose this book to read, Emily?
I won it from LibraryThing in exchange for a review of the book.
I’m reading Gathering Blue by Lois Lowry.
Tell us more about this book, Tardis!
It’s a companion to the book The Giver, but I’m not sure what it has to do with it yet. It’s about a girl who has a bad leg, and in her village they normally let die people who have things like that. But the Council of Guardians, I guess they’re kind of like the leaders, know that she knows how to sew so they let her stay alive to work on some projects they need done. It’s quite good so far. It’s called Gathering Blue because she’s trying to find out how to make blue thread.
Whoa. That sounds really interesting. You’ve got me intrigued about this story.
I just finished reading Almost Home By Joan Bauer. It’s really good.
What’s it about, Yasmin?
Oh, its about this girl who loses her home. It’s a real page turner.
Interesting!
I am almost done reading a book called Anne franks diary. It’s a very good book and it is based on a true event that happened to many people in world war 2.
I’ve read this book, too. What do you like about the book?
The Ropemaker
I’m reading”The Fault in Our Stars”. It is such a great book, I’m almost done 🙂
I totally agree! I think others on here would definitely agree with you, Ying!
I’m readng Insurgent
How is it so far, Becca?
I am reading Dragonfire by Donita K. Paul. It is a part of a Christian fantasy series called The Dragonkeeper series. The book is about Wizard Kale Allerion and Sir Bardon and how they are married but sent on seemingly different quests that soon intertwine with each other. There are two other mighty wizards who are having a bit of a husband-wife duo with fiery dragons. Both Kale and Bardon lose important things that are meant to keep their lives going, which makes them suffer a great deal as well.
Sounds like a great pick, Heather! Thanks for posting.
Vampire Breath by R.L. Stine. It is good, Kim.
