The hardest thing about being a kid is when adults don’t listen to you
The hard thing about being a kid is adults never take you seriously and never listen to what you have to say.
I agree, sometimes they don’t take you seriously. Sometimes they do but normally they just brush you off.
The hardest thing about being a kid, is that if you say something smart or with a hightened vocabulary, people giggle and don’t take you seriously, then if you say something dumb and young people still won’t take you seriously! Adults have people who listen to what they have to say, and kids don’t, well, not as much.
Plus if a bully came and beat you up at lunch time, they just go to the principal’s office, if someone comes and beats up an adult, they get sued or go to jail!
These are some very interesting comments, Anna. I’m glad you mention them.
The hardest thing about being a kid is how some adults underestimate you, and how adults sometimes don’t listen to you even when you say something very smart.
